The Grampians - Geologically, a uniquely formed mountain range. Ecologically, one of the most diverse National Parks in Australia. Culturally, home to ten’s of thousands of years of human history. All of this in a destination that offers some of the most dramatic hiking in Victoria.
Based right in the heart of the Gariwerd, the Grampians Peaks Walking Company is the key to connecting people with place and unlocking the true Grampians experience.
Our goal is to be part of every journey on the Grampians Peak Trail no matter how you want to experience it. Whether it be a simple conversation about trail conditions, supplying a map or a fuel canister, providing transport and logistical solutions, right through to guiding a luxury multi-day experience.
The Grampians Peaks Walking Company is here to support everyone walking the GPT in every way possible.
"To inspire, support and enable YOU to discover YOUR Grampians Peaks Trail."
Since the inception of the Grampians Peaks Trail, as with all long-distance linear walks, there has been a need to provide guidance and support for walkers who journey through the Gariwerd Landscape.
The proactive team at Absolute Outdoors, at home in the Grampians, quickly identified the need for information, supplies, transport and of course, reliable local guides and laid the foundations of the Grampians Peaks Walking Company.
Today, the Grampians Peaks Walking Company is still part of the Absolute Outdoors family and is the premier operator supporting the Grampians Peaks Trail.
"To continually improve the health and sustainability of our community and the environment."
